In this session, participants will explore BGCP Reads as a read-aloud curriculum, focusing on the intentional intellectual preparation that makes read alouds come alive. We will unpack the key principles that drive engagement—expressive delivery, and meaningful youth interaction. Participants will leave with concrete strategies to plan and facilitate read alouds that captivate young readers, deepen comprehension, and foster a genuine love of stories.
